Recently I started waht was going to be a little project but has quickly evolved into a much bigger one than expected. I started a photo album/scrapbook of me and my friends. I want to include as many photographs as possible, but I'm trying to do it in an artistic manner. It is working, to a certain degree, in that I am trying to keep all the photos in 'original photo shape' but it has turned into some what of a mammoth task. I have far too many photos for the book I selected. I chose a nice big one, blue oriental floral cover and plastic wallets so that pictures can be safely covered. It's looking great, but I need another book, and I don't really want to down size. Hmmm. I'm not sure how to go about this. I think I might get one of those old-fashioned looking photo albums with the fancy cover. I have picture corners (even if they are clear not metal) and I have used them in a couple of other nice photo albums, so it might work... Well we shall see. I don't think I'll be posting any of the pages, even though I'd like to, mostly for the privacy of my friends. I might pop up a couple once I have permission from the people in them. But most importantly, I am having fun with it. It's not greatly arty, but it gives me something creative to do with my time other than my very large cross-stitch.
Sim's in Scotland for a few days with his parents. Originally I was going to be going with them, but the whole break-up thing put a stopper in that one. We're talking though, chatting on the phone a lil bit and texting a lot, both of which are good. I miss him, but we're gonna go out for drinks shortly after he comes back, which I am looking forward to.
